The trial of OJ Simpson was something of a media sensation. Accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and acquaintance Ronald Goldman, he hired a legal “dream team” to defend him in court. The amount of damning evidence against him in the case made his acquittal in 1995 a highly controversial verdict.
Both Nicole and Ronald were found stabbed to death at Nicole’s home. Ronald would’ve lived if he hadn’t gone there that day to return a pair of sunglasses to her while the murder was in progress.
